Research Interest: |
Currently the research mainly focuses on reconstruction of regenerative microenvironment to achieve bone, cartilage and spinal cord repair. We use biomaterials, nanotechnology and stem cells for :
(1) regulating the inflammatory cell to reduce the inflammatory responses
(2) controlled release of exogenous factors and /or preconcentration of factors, and/or
(3) mimicking the mechanical properties of the native tissue to rebuild the environments for promoting tissue regeneration.
