Experience:

Prof. ZHANG Zhijun received his PhD degree in Physical Chemistry from Kwansei Gakuin University, Japan in 1998. He was a postdoctoral fellow in Peking University from 1998-1999, followed by working as a JSPS fellow in Nagoya University, Japan from 1999 to 2001. He then moved to Canada and worked as a NSERC postdoctoral fellow at Steacie Institute for Molecular Sciences, National Research Council of Canada, and then a research associate at McGill University and at Industrial Materials Institute, NRC, respectively. Dr. Zhang joined Suzhou Institute of Nano-tech and Nano-bionics, Chinese Academy of Sciences, as a professor in November 2007. He has coauthored over 40 publications including Nature Materials, Nano Letters, Chem. Commun., and Small. He holds one US patent. Dr. Zhang is referee of more than 10 international academic journals, including J. Am. Chem. Soc., Small, J. Mater. Chem., and Bioconjugate Chem.
